About SMARTMap
SMARTMap® is a retirement support and financial wellness guidance program, designed to meet employees where they are on their financial journeys and help them take steps to improve their financial lives.
Our mission is to deliver unbiased, jargon-free education to employees to help them make the most of their workplace retirement plan and feel more confident about the other areas of their personal finances.
Getting Started
Here are our best practices for rolling out SMARTMap to your employees.
Phase 1: Data Collection & Prep
Sign & Submit SMARTMap Contract
A signed contract or addendum is needed before we can begin Foundational Planning conversations or provide point-in-time financial advice to participants.
Gather Employee Census Data
Use our provided “Census Upload - Participant Data” template to gather employee data. At a minimum, we ask for first name, last name, and work email address to enroll employees in our communications.
Allowlist World’s Domain & IP Addresses
Provide our allowlisting information to your IT team to set our domain and IP addresses as “safe senders” in your email system.
Phase 2: implementation & launch
Publish Financial Wellness Hub Link
Identify the most effective locations to showcase your Financial Wellness Hub link (e.g., company intranet, benefits platform, physical flyers).
Send the Employer Announcement Email
Announce the program and Financial Wellness Hub to your employees using our provided “SMARTMap Announcement Email” template.
Set a Rollout Date for SMARTMap Email Communications
After your organization has announced the program, we’ll set a rollout date for our ongoing SMARTMap campaigns.
